We have converted most of our paper-based products into web-based products to provide better service to our customers and to uphold our corporate commitment to reduce waste and pollution.

We believe "going green" makes good business sense

All of our paper-based products^ are printed on Grays Harbor Paper's Harbor 100, which is the only 100% post-consumer recycled paper manufactured with 100% renewable, non-polluting energy.

The high quality paper we use for our products contains absolutely no material from virgin trees. This means that 100% of the fibers in the paper come from post-consumer recycled materials that have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

This eco-friendly paper is manufactured by using 100% renewable, non-polluting energy. Green-E, the recognized leader of renewable energy certification in the United States, has certified the process for turning wood wastes into the clean energy used to manufacture Harbor 100 paper.

Soy-based inks

Our products do not contain paper bleached with chlorine. Instead, hydrogen peroxide, which does not cause damage to the environment, is used to bleach the paper we use.

Since we are committed to minimizing pollution in the environment, our products are printed with soy-based inks, which contain no harmful chemicals.

Instead of using paper made from virgin trees, we use 100% post-consumer recycled Harbor 100 paper to create our products at GreatBizTools. For every ton of this eco-friendly paper that we use, we

  • Save 10,052 gallons of water
  • Reduce energy consumption by 14 million BTUs
  • Prevent 1,120 pounds of solid waste from being dumped into our landfills
  • Stop 2,210 pounds of greenhouse gases from being released into the atmosphere

^ Harbor 100 paper is not used for the covers of our booklets, for the cardboard backing of our pads, and for some miscellaneous items. We use recycled paper, however, for all of these materials.
