"Applying Logic" is an employment test that measures the ability to solve work problems by identifying similarities and differences among objects (reasoning test). This skills test assesses logical and analytical skills required for solving routine work problems. It predicts effectiveness in the areas of General Learning Ability, Problem Solving, and Oral Communication.

Each problem in this assessment includes five pictures. Four of the pictures are related in some way. There is a common element among these four pictures. One of the pictures, however, is unrelated. For each problem, individuals are asked to choose the picture that they think is unrelated to the other pictures. |
