Website Access & Use

  1. We grant visitors to our website a limited license to access and make personal use of the unsecured areas of our website without registering with us.
  2. Individuals must register with us if they wish to use the secured areas of our website and/or purchase our online and paper-based products and services.
  3. Registration requires individuals to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as name, email address, and security information.
  4. Individuals accepting our offer for a 15-day free trial of WebAssess® are required to provide credit card information if tests are administered on WebAssess after the trial period has ended. In such situations, an individual's account will be charged approximately every two to four weeks or when the account balance exceeds $500, whichever occurs first.
  5. When individuals register with us, we automatically assign them a "Standard" account", which allows them to purchase our products and fee-based services on an "as needed" basis.
  6. Individuals who register with us, thereby establishing an account with us on behalf of their organizations, are designated as "Company Administrators," who have primary responsibility for managing the Company Account.
  7. Company Administrators and authorized administrators are required to sign (i.e., electronically) the "GBT Terms and Conditions" before they can purchase our products and/or gain access to the secured areas of our website.
  8. Company Administrators and authorized administrators in an organization are required to enter a valid user name and password to to login to their Company Account and/or to gain access to the secured areas of our website.
  9. We reserve the right to cancel an individual's or organization's participation in our free 15-day trial of WebAssess if we determine that the individual or organization has registered with us more than once in order to take repeated advantage of our offer to use WebAssess free for 15 days.
  10. We "lock out" individuals who are unable to login successfully (i.e., typically due to incorrect user names and passwords) to their Company Account and/or secured areas of our website after a certain number of attempts.
  11. We require individuals who are "locked out" of their Company Account or the secured areas of our website to use our procedure for retrieving their user name and password before they are allowed to login.
  12. Individuals who do not provide the correct security information when attempting to change their user name and/or password must request assistance from their Company Administrator to regain access to their Company Account.
  13. We require Company Administrators who are locked out of their Company Account to call us and provide the correct security information to regain access to their account.
  14. We use various techniques to protect personally identifiable information in Company Accounts and Administrator Profiles against unauthorized access and disclosure, loss, and theft.
  15. Administrators are not able to login to their Company Account and/or access the secured areas of our website if the Company Administrator closes the account or if we close or suspend the account due to non-payment, breach of contract, or other legal issues.
  16. We make every effort to ensure access to Company Accounts and Administrator Profiles at all times, except for weekly maintenance periods and downtimes caused by unforseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., Internet and server problems).
